Lost micro SD

I'm at work and they gave me a Zedboard to do some work. I've never used one of this before and my computer doesn't detect the board. They gave me the board without the micro SD, and i was wondering if that could be the problem? I followed all the steps and install all the drivers and doesn't work.

Hi,

Hi,

Are you sure you are using a Zedboard? The Zedboard utilizes a standard SD card not a Micro SD Card. However that is not required to utlize the Zedboard.

What drivers did you install? DId you install the Cypress USB Uart driver?

Are you sure your using the correct MicroUSB connector?

Please go through the Zedboard getting started guide located here http://zedboard.org/support/documentation/1521
