MicroZed USB device driver for bulk transfer

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had or seen information about using the MicroZed's USB port as a device for bulk data transfer. I have found examples to configure the system as a mass storage device but nothing for continuous data transfer.

The goal is to transfer a steady stream of data (approx. 5Mb/s) to a PC running software which will process the received data.

Regards,
Ed

Hi,

I am also looking for similar kind of example. Could anybody let me know where could look for more info on this?

Hi,

Hi,

I've recently evaluated the mass storage device example on the MicroZed and everything worked well. See reference: http://zedboard.org/content/ise-146-version-1

Unfortunately, I'm still at a loss trying to use the board to stream continuous real time data via the USB port. Perhaps the mass storage device example can be modified for this purpose but Iā€™m unsure where to begin.

Maybe my solution to develop this via bare-metal is not optimal and using Linux would be a better solution. Does Linux support USB devices on the MicroZed board? Does anyone have any information regarding Linux and USB devices?

It would be appreciated if anyone could provide me with some information, reference examples or a few pointers that could help me out!

Thanks!
Ed
