Rev D ZedBoard Schematic/BOM Posted

ZedBoard has been updated with a few minor corrections as well as now being built with production Zynq silicon. This new revision is Rev D.2. The schematics and BOM for this new revision are now posted in the Documentation area. A complete change list from C.1 to D.2 is on the last page of the schematics.

Hi,
the last page of the D.2 schematics says:
PCB: add series termination resistor to SD Clock.
Parts: load new resistor with 50ohm resistor.
But on page 6 there is no risistor to find.

The 50-ohm series termination

The 50-ohm series termination resistor is on the Zynq side. This is R293 on Sheet 10 of the schematics.

Did you repair the wrongly dimensioned 1V line, which will lead to unstableness when using the PL?

Did you repair the EMC/ESD-problem, when you connect the Zedboard ground to whatever grounded device (Ethernet, USB, ...) or get anykind of ESD-spike - the Zedbord will reset?

Did you repair the awful leaking powersupply which you provide with the Zedboard, providing +80volts related to mains earth to the zedboards ground, leading to destructed I/O-pins of the FPGA sooner or later?

The quality of the Zedboard is very far from what I have used to with Xilinx boards.

It sounds like you may be better suited to the ZC702 board -- www.xilinx.com/zc702
 
The 1V supply is capable of delivering 2A. This was not redesigned on Rev D. We believe 2A is sufficient for most users.
 
The EMC/ESD problem was not resolved on the first batch of Rev D board but will be fixed moving forward. The fix is not that difficult and is detailed in the ZedBoard Errata as well as Sam Bobrowicz' response in the original post.
