Simple LED Example

Hi

We just bought several MicroZed board(AES-Z7MB-7Z020-SOM-I-G)
I'm begginer in Xilinx, but I'm familiar with the Altera.
For learning the Zynq, I need a simple example for MicroZed "AES-Z7MB-7Z020-SOM-I-G" to read the user switch by FPGA and then read it by ARM in SDK and send it to PC via TCP-IP and then return it back to ARM and to FPGA to turn on the user LED. Would you please help me to have that simple project?

Best regards

Hello Hamid,

Hello Hamid,

If you are new to MicroZed, my suggestions would be for you to take a look at our various reference designs we offer for that development platform. Please take a look at http://zedboard.org/support/design/1519/10

Also we offer two intorductory speedways that get you up and running with Zynq. They are called Developing Zynq Software and Developing Zynq Hardware. If you are new to Zynq these two courses may be the best choices as it goes through everything from Zynq Architecture to Application development and how to maneouver through Xilinx Vivado and SDK. You can find those here

Thank you Josh,

Thank you Josh,
The second link is based on MiniZed, but I have MicroZed. I still could find how to work with the user SW and user LED pins.
Best regards
Hamid

Hello Hamid,

Hello Hamid,

There is a 2016.4 version of those labs located at those links that targets the MicroZed.

But once I extracted the zip

But once I extracted the zip file it didn't have the Solution_MZ folder according the document.

I have only the following folders once I extracted the zip file.
ip_repo
Lab_instructions
Solutions_MiniZ
Support_documents
ZynqDesign

Hello,

Hello,

That is the incorrect course you are looking at. Download the 2016.2 version at this link http://zedboard.org/course/developing-zynq%C2%AE-7000-all-programmable-s...
