Stuck on ultrazed_eg_starter_kit tutorial

Hi,

I have installed Xilinx vivado 2017.1. Now I am trying to run the ultrazed_eg_starter_kit tutorial from your website. I followed all the necessary steps. However, every time I am getting error "Coretcl 2-106 Specified part could not be found". Could you please help me whats wrong going on?

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,
Mithun

Hello Mithun,

Hello Mithun,

What step are you getting your error on in the Starter Kit Tutorial?

When you installed Vivado 2017.1, did you check the box to download the Engineering Silicon Devices? If not you will need to uninstall Vivado and then reinstall it enabling the Engineering Silicon Devices.

Did you install your Engineering Silicon ES1 License?

Did you follow the instructions in the Quick Start Card in regards to creating a int.tcl file and adding it to your Vivado install? Please see the quick start card here. http://zedboard.org/support/documentation/17586

Hello Josh,

Hello Josh,
Thanks for your reply.
"What step are you getting your error on in the Starter Kit Tutorial?"
- During step 5.5 Generating Bitstream
"When you installed Vivado 2017.1, did you check the box to download the Engineering Silicon Devices? If not you will need to uninstall Vivado and then reinstall it enabling the Engineering Silicon Devices."
- I did check the Engineering Silicon Device.
"Did you install your Engineering Silicon ES1 License?"
- As I understood, I need to create license through Xilinx website which I did. Is this correct?
"Did you follow the instructions in the Quick Start Card in regards to creating a int.tcl file and adding it to your Vivado install? Please see the quick start card here. http://zedboard.org/support/documentation/17586"
- No, I haven't done this steps. I'll try it today or tomorrow and let you know.

Thanks and Regards,
Mithun

Hello Josh,

Hello Josh,
I had to create Vivado_init.tcl file for initialization. Then it works fine. Thanks for your help. Now I am closing this topic.
