TOPPERS/FMP open-source multicore RTOS on the Zedboard

TOPPERS/FMP is a high-quality real-time operating system that supports multi-core processors. It is developed within the TOPPERS project and distributed with an open source license. FMP implements an specification that is largely based on the uITRON4.0 interface.

Click on the link below to download FMP with support for the Zedboard. Instructions needed for building FMP and loading it into the Zedboard are included in the README-EN.txt inside the package:

The main characteristics of FMP are:

- Support for SMP and AMP configurations.
- Kernel and applications are linked in a single monolithic binary.
- Tasks are assigned to processor cores through a configuration file.
- FMP provides runtime system calls for migrating a task to a different core.
- The execution of FMP can be traced and displayed graphically.
