Turn off PL Fabric clock from PS linux?

Hi all,

I am trying  to run a experiment where it would be best if I can turn off the PL clock from PS, using the Linux application running in PS. Is that do-able? The clock I am referring to is the one of the low-power domain clocks : PL Fabric clock.

Hello Goutham,

Hello Goutham,

That seems doable. Try taking  a look at the article.

Hi Josh,

Hi Josh,

Thanks for the input.
I was able to do it using the register interface of Low power clock domain of PS : The register responsible for this is https://www.xilinx.com/html_docs/registers/ug1087/ug1087-zynq-ultrascale-registers.html#mod___crl_apb.html . My source clock to soft MMCM is from this PL0 clock, which is what i can turn off and on using this register interface.
