Vivado board definition file for Minized not recognized in Vivado 2016.2

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem: I'm currently not able to load up the minized board definition file. I do believe I'm placing the file in the right location:

/opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2016.2/data/boards/board_files
I've also tried changing folder/file permissions of /minized with no success.

In Vivado, nothing shows up. I currently also own Picozed 7030's and card carriers V2 where I use the same steps in installing the board definition file to Windows 10 and Linux and Vivado is able to recognize these files.

Thank you.
Regards,
R.

Hello,

Hello,

In the 2016.2 tool set, the Zynq single core 7007s device is not in the tool set. My suggestIon would be to upgrade your Vivado tool set to 2017.1 or later. That should solve your issue.

Also the JTAG-USB-UART interface on the MiniZed is only supported in Vivado 2017.1 or later. So you would need to upgrade anyways
