Maxim Pmod projects for ZedBoard

Maxim Analog Essentials is a collection of peripheral modules which can plug directly into any FPGA/CPU expansion port which follows the Pmod™ standard established by Digilent, Inc. The collection includes modules containing a wide variety of commonly used analog and mixed signal functions. The modules are supported by software which includes FPGA configuration files for three popular FPGA platforms: Avnet LX-9, Digilent Nexys 3 and Avnet ZEDBoard, as well as example programs to exercise and demonstrate each module. While the example programs demonstrate the module’s functionality, they are well partitioned and documented allowing the core routines to be easily cut and pasted into your own programs. The combination of plug-in simplicity and easy software integration allows for quick migration from idea to working prototype.

This is a tremendously nice demonstration kit and complete interface with fun to use software.

The only issue is that a few things are missing from the user manual that caused me some snags:
1. In the newest Vivado SDK's Programmer, the BMM file is greyed out, as it should be for the hardware core of Zynq.
2. You need to change the boot mode jumpers from the default configuration, which is for the SD card boot. In the default boot configuration, SDK launch of ELF will not load properly, although things otherwise look right. For Maxium's JTAG boot, all boot jumpers MI02 through MI06 should be set to ground.
3. Make sure the Run | Run Configuration menu has the STDIO has "Connect STDIO to Console" NOT selected. That way you can use the external STDIO console with the second USB cable connection.
4. Wait for the ELF to complete as per the status bar at the bottom of the window. It will hold at 44% for a minute. After that you should see the Maxim text appear on the serial port console.
